Dear Beautiful Pearls!

Today marks a very important day for everyone all over the world…. It’s Valentine’s day! A day that truly captivates the interest of lovers especially those of the younger generation. We come together to demonstrate love to one another and it’s a beautiful thing. I believe that there is one man whose neglected most of the time and He demonstrated the greatest act of love and sacrifice. It is our ever loving and caring Father, Jesus Christ! He lay down His life so that you may have life. Another person reading this would argue on the view that we have heard all things before. Well yes, you have heard all this in church, from friends and family but how deeply have you allowed this reality to affect your heart?

Jesus loves His children with all His heart, imagine that one man has every single person in His mind and heart…that’s truly amazing! Today I don’t know where you are or what you may be going through but I want to let you know that the love of Christ surpasses all understanding. Even if you don’t have someone to share Valentine’s day with, simply comfort yourself with the love of Christ which brings peace, hope and joy. Christ will come soon to take away His Bride, this being the church, the question is, would you find yourself carried away in His loving arms? Prepare daily for the day of His Return, you will not the day, hour or minute when He will come but focus everyday on being prepared. You can only achieve this by continually sharing His Word, walking in His will and living a life that is found to be holy in His sight. By all means, show love to those you care about but make sure that all your acts of love are pleasing within the sight of God. Show love to all those around you, because our God who sits in heaven is a God of love. You may be feeling broken, downhearted or unworthy of His love and blessing but I want to assure you today that once you have given your life to Christ, He no longer remembers your sinful nature. Just like the prodigal son, our Father welcomes you in with open arms withholding nothing from you. Allow your heart to fall in love with Him because I know for a fact that Jesus is soooo crazy about you that’s why He laid down His life on the cross. He is earnestly crying out for you, don’t ignore His call!

Dear Beautiful pearls,

Precious, that's how I have always viewed you

So magnificent in nature, yet so delicate

I always loved you, even when it seemed as though you were shoved into oblivion

The masses threw mud on you, they tried to break you

You passed through the sharpest curves in life

Suffered bruises and punches

They only worked to mold and refine you!

You remained resilient through it all.

Yes my beautiful white pearl...I absolutely adore you...

Neglect is never in my character... I cradle your heart in my palms so gently

Like a love struck lover, I have your name graven in my palms

Like the Prodigal son, you are always welcome home

I am always here to comfort you with hugs, wipe away your tears and shelter you from prying arrows...

You are so priceless...Your being sparkles and shimmers before me!
